I want to speak directly to you about where we are all headed and why it matters.

Over the past year, artificial intelligence (AI) has shifted from experimentation to action across financial institutions. Vendors are embedding AI everywhere. You want to use it for everything from investment analysis to client communications. The real question is not whether you will use AI; it’s whether you’ll control it.

That’s exactly why I started Artificial Intelligence Risk, Inc. (AIR). Drawing from my decades managing investment, risk and technology teams -- across market cycles, global disruptions, and failures because people were not in control -- I saw a need. Regulated industries like ours cannot treat AI like just another software application. It needs the same disciplined governance and risk management we bring to capital, investing, liquidity, and operations.

Over the past year, it’s become clear: institutions need infrastructure. They need a control layer -- a way to operate AI that’s safe, consistent, and aligned with their regulatory obligations and fiduciary duty.

That’s why I’m proud to introduce the new name for our AI platform: Verapath. To be clear, nothing about our relationship, support, or access changes.

Verapath is the new name for our AI platform built for regulated financial institutions. It replaces scattered experiments and disconnected tools with a governed, end-to-end solution. With Verapath, you can integrate AI models, internal systems, and third-party data, always with full oversight, auditability, and control.

AIR is the company: the brains behind the operation. Verapath is the platform: where you run AI safely and at scale.

Nevertheless, the distinction matters. AIR stands for our unwavering commitment to risk management, regulatory alignment, and cybersecurity. Verapath is how we deliver those commitments for your daily operations.

We chose the name Verapath with purpose – the true path. It reflects our belief that financial institutions require a clear, deliberate, and responsible path forward for AI in finance.

The truth is, AI will touch every institution. Some firms will adopt it through piecemeal tools and unmanaged workflows. Others, the leaders, will adopt the platform required to deploy AI responsibly. The institutions that define AI governance will, in turn, define the future of finance itself.

We built Verapath for those institutions.
